About Outdoors in the City
The Brede Arkless Outdoors in the City Centre is a unique facility offering the thrills, challenges and excitement of the great outdoors in inner city Newham.
Situated just a stone’s throw from Canary Wharf and a short journey from central London, our facilities include activities from abseiling to zip wires, via archery, bush craft, high ropes, orienteering, POWERFAN, climbing wall, and more.
Our expert team of instructors brings a wealth of experience in delivering packages to all types of groups and individuals. They will align the experience with your desired outcomes, whether they are educational, team-building, developmental, or just pure fun.
Outdoors in the City is a Social Enterprise. Any financial surplus generated is reinvested into the charitable activities of Community Links.

Community Links has been working to tackle poverty and social exclusion across Newham for 35 years. Through community projects ranging from children’s play schemes, positive activities for young people, into-employment programmes for all ages and advice and advocacy for adults, we provide invaluable help to almost 25,000 people who need it each year.
